INVI

To get close to society's wicked problems and develop policy tools that work, INVI has assembled a Policy Insights Panel (PIP). The panel acts as a sparring partner and source of knowledge and experience with the complexity of reality. It consists of more than 1000 policy entrepreneurs who work with developing, translating or implementing policy on a daily basis and is broadly composed in terms of gender, geography, areas of responsibility and sectors.

PIP Insights

The think tank INVI is the first in the world to build a model that can measure the complexity of societal problems. We call it the Model for Wicked Problems.

If the model succeeds, we can make it clear to decision makers - and to the media and the wider public - when a problem is wicked and thus requires more time, more perspectives and often new tools. At the same time, we learn more about why some problems are particularly wicked.

For the model to work, it needs to be based on knowledge from you and others who work with wicked problems on a daily basis. This is crucial.

By participating in our surveys, you contribute to INVI's Wild Problem Model - and thus to how we as a society understand the wild problems we face.

The work on the model is led by Professor Jacob Gerner Hariri, while Senior Advisor Carl-Johan Dalgaard heads an advisory group of people with experience from civil society and central government.
